Lisa
Counsellor & Founder
Being able to make a difference and help others understand their feelings and circumstances is at the heart of why I became a therapist. I'm passionate about supporting clients as they begin to explore what has brought them to therapy and what they might need moving forward. Empowering clients to help build confidence in their own choices is a central part of my approach.
Sometimes, simply being heard, validated, and truly understood can be the starting point for change. From there, meaningful shifts can begin to happen — and that's often where growth starts.
I also understand what it's like to sit in the chair as a client, and I feel genuinely privileged to walk alongside people in my role as a therapist. Supporting you as you make sense of your world is something I care deeply about.
I look forward to welcoming you and working together to explore what you need.

Therapeutic Modalities Explained
I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches and adapting to what you need. Here’s what each of these means in plain English.
Person-Centred Therapy
Developed by Carl Rogers, Person-Centred therapy is built on the belief that you are the expert on your own life. In our sessions, I offer empathy, acceptance and genuine presence, trusting that this relationship gives you the safety to find your own answers.
Transactional Analysis (TA)
Transactional Analysis looks at the patterns we learned in childhood and how they shape our adult relationships today. Together we explore the ‘parent’, ‘adult’ and ‘child’ parts of you, recognising old scripts and choosing new ones that serve you better.
Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt focuses on what is happening for you in the present moment — your body, your awareness, your felt experience — rather than only telling the story of your past. It is a powerful approach for understanding patterns and finding what is genuinely true for you right now.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic work explores how earlier experiences and unconscious patterns shape your present life. By gently bringing these into awareness, we can begin to understand difficulties at their root and free up new possibilities for how you want to live.
